Ever since i got new wires last week?!

Ever since last week I go new wires, my face has looked different!. My teeth felt smaller!. But as goes for my face!. My face looks even bigger!. My nose has gotten bigger, and so have my cheeks!. But my lips are fine!. I use to have problems with my lips always being big from my braces, but now they aren't!. Everytime I smile, its horrible!. Since my teeth are smaller in my mouth, my cheeks are puffed out more, and my nose has gotten bigger-it looks really bad when I smile!. I'm also getting a herbst appliance this month and I was wondering if that would help with my face!? Also one more thing about the herbst appliance-my teeth are already straight!. I'm not sure if my ortho is gonna take my braces off!. But sometimes do orthos straighten your teeth for you, then put in a herbst appliance with all of your braces off!?
