Did you know that technically no one except children is (and never has been) automatically entitled to dental treatment on the NHS!!! It is just a quirk of the NHS!.

The dentist has to enter into a contract with the local PCT to take on NHS patients!. There is no money in it which is why most practices are now private!. An NHS dentist is like hen's teeth !.!.!. virtually extinct!.

Also you do not have to live in the area to register with a dentist (although they do prefer it!) I know people from the who have moved house from one end of the country to the other end of the country but still travel the length of the country to attend their original dentist!.

If you are registered with a NHS dentist then keep him/her!. Also, go regularly!. If you do not attend for 15 months you will be deregistered by the local PPSA and the dentist is not obliged to reregister you!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
