Question: Braces! Band Broke Help!!?
I recently got braces and my band broke!. Should I be concerned alot because I cannot go to the doctor until Monday because that is when they open the office!? Can I eat anything or should I just drink liquids!?
It is the wire holder thing that is at the end of the teeth!. It is not completely off but it keeps moving up and down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stay calm and don't panic!. I just got braces too and I've had them for about 5 months and already broken 5 things!.
First, keep the rubberband and see if you can place it back on!. Of you can't that's OK!. Of course carry on with your day and drink and eat just be careful of what you eat!. Try to stay away from hard or sticky things!.
Second, the wire is probably loose because the rubber band fell off!. The rubberband is what keeps the wire in place!. Don't mess with the wire because that's what I did and it made it worse!.
Lastly, try to get in the office on Monday ASAP!.

i answered you other question, i think, anyway: take the band off!. this prevents you choking on it!. it will not affect you that much, but take it off!. then call your orthodontist and tell them your problem!. good luck! if you take it off, cover it with wax!. then you can eat anything, to a certain extent!. you should be able to drink just liquids, or eat food!. your choice, but do eat!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's fine, that will happen with braces, just don't worry about it!. i've dont that many of times and it's no biggy!. you can eat too!. you'll be fine until monday though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
