I get free dental treatment as I'm pregnant... (UK)?!

Question: I get free dental treatment as I'm pregnant!.!.!. (UK)!?
Does this include teeth whitening or would I have to pay for that regardless of pregnancy!?

I had to have a tooth taken out last month as my wisdom tooth had cracked the one next to it as it came through and an infection got in and half the tooth fell out etc but because of that I was unable to brush my teeth properly for some time as I was in so much pain until the tooth was removed so now I have a slight yellow tint to my teeth that I just can't get rid of and I'm paranoid about it, someone told me that teeth whitening is over a couple of hundred quid, which with a kid on the way, I just can't afford, so I was wondering if it was one of the things I could get done for free!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just read someone elses answer about the whitning stuff you can get from like boots or tescos!.!.!. it is no where near what the dentist uses!.!. dentist use such a high percent of bleach it is actually illegal for anyone or anywhere else to sell it!. the ones you can buy are really not worth it teh percentage is so low it hardly makes a difference!.!.!.
Ok sorry to waffle on to answer the question, whitning is only a private option not NHS the contracts specify only work that is needed can be, and discolouring isnt classified as being dentally unfit, unfortunatley, Have you tried having a scale and polish!? as it could just be staining!? ask your dentist!.!.!. because u can get scale and polishs on nhs!.
I really wouldnt waste your money on home bleaching kits you can buy from the shops tho!
Scale and polish can remove the stains you wouldn't be able to with a toothbrush!.!. and if its juts because you couldnt brush there for a while thats more than likely what it is (staining)
Hope this helps!. sorry for writing so much xWww@Answer-Health@Com

whitening is NOT a NHS service that's a private optional thing!.

also you're lucky you have a NHS dentist as if there are no NHS dentists locally you cannot get NHS treatment!.

rather than this you could try swapping your mouthwash for 3% hydrogen peroxide and gargling with that!. (boots sell it) or there are DIY wheitneing kits available in Tesco extra for
