Are the metal teeth of a zipper safe to put in your mouth?!

Question: Are the metal teeth of a zipper safe to put in your mouth!?
I know this sounds like a dumb question!. The reason I'm asking is because I'm making fake braces for a Halloween costume out of paper clips and the metal teeth of a zipper!. I'm pretty sure I'm not in danger of swallowing any, but I want to know if there's anything in the metal that is toxic or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most zippers are made by this manufacturer!. I do not think they make their zippers with lead being that they are "environmentally safe"Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't really know but speculating!.!.!.there are lots of clothing etc made in China and over seas!. Given the best scenario!. The product was tested!. It was probably tested for "not in the mouth" Because zippers aren't for the mouth!. There is the metal and the dye to worry about!. Even if the product was from the USA who knows the make-up of the metal etc!. I wouldn't do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hope you don't have any cavity fillings!.!.!. If you have any kind of metal in your mouth and you have the alloy/metal fillings, you'll have an unpleasant taste in your mouth!. I discovered this when I found some foil that was stuck to my sandwich!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
