well invisalign is a type of braces and a hawley or "wire" retainer is well a retainer!.

if your wondering about a clear retainer there is a kind called an essix retainer and it looks just like invisalign but it is a retainer and not braces!. these cost around $250

I am getting my braces off july 17 2008 I am getting a wire retainer so that i can get a design i personal think the wire is better the plastic one looks really nastey when yoy take it out and can easily turn yellowWww@Answer-Health@Com
