Question: Do orthodontists give you a choice on wether you have a bottom fixed retainer, or a removable one!?

kind of :> see it depends on how you treated your teeth during the time when you had braces for instance if you didnt wear your elastics much(if you had them for example) then your ortho probably wont trust you so yes he will put a fixed one on but if you followed their instructions they will give you a removable one!. it also can depend on your case if ur teeth were really crooked b4 braces on the bottom u will get a fixed one to make sure they dont move back to their original positions!. but fixed ones are pretty rare these days so you will probably get the removable one :>Www@Answer-Health@Com
