Question: Teeth extraction question!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am gonna be operated for teeth extraction[8 teeth,at the same time] in a couple of days!.
I am least scared about the surgery but very anxious about that needle prick when they give you General anesthesia!.
How it would feel!?!? and will it knock me out rightaway!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had my wisdom teeth extracted (all 4 of them!), I felt them prick the vein in my elbow to insert the needle for the anesthetic!.
The anesthesiologist will sometimes talk to you about simple things like the weather, what you did on the weekend, etc!. and you just doze right off in about 20 seconds!. (I barely had time to formulate an answer)!.

It really didn't hurt after they numbed it!. The numbing part is the worse because the needle actually touches a nerve so you won't feel anything!. But besides that, no pain!. I go 7 teeth pulled in October all at the same time and it was fine!.The first couple days are kind of hard, because your mouth is numb, and there is no teeth there!. Just eat soft things and everything will be fine;

I'm not quite understanding the procedure that you are having!. When I had my wisdom teeth out, I didn't get a shot, I had the gas to put me to sleep!. I was really nervous about it, but it turned out not to be that bad!. And, yeah, it's pretty quick!. In about 30 seconds I was GONE!. You start to feel really, really tired and just wanna go to sleep!. So you actually do it on your own!. Now, I have had teeth pull and gotten a shot of novicaine!.!.!.that's different!. That's just a needle prick in the gums (like a pinch) and it also works pretty fast!. That doesn't put you to sleep, though!. You are awake through something like that!.!.!.which for me was pulling a tooth!. I sounds like you are saying you are having your wisdom teeth, plus some others!?!?!? is that right!?!?
I think the procedure is less to be concerned about than recovery!. Surgery isnt' what there is to worry about!. Most of the pain (which you should get a prescription for) comes after you wake up and are healing!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO need to worry!.!.!.!.you should have been told that!.!.!.!.!.!.!.you have the right to ask everythng step by step!.!.!.!.!.!.there is a numbing effect!.!.!.i just had some work done and i didn't feel a thing!.!.!.the needle because of the numbing gel!.!.think about it!.!.!.really, they make you feel very comfortable!.!.that's their job!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
