Amount of radiation from a dental xray?!


Question: Amount of radiation from a dental xray!?
My friend is a dental assistant!. She claims that since she's doing dental x-rays 5-10 times a day the radiation will affect her in the long run!. I claim it's murlarkey! Doens anyone out there know if it has any short term or long term affects on a person!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a radiological technologist, and I use much higher doses of radiation than that used in dentistry!. I am also required to be in the room, while the exposures are made, for certain exams!. That being said, anybody, who works around radiation, is only at risk if she puts herself at risk!. If your friend is doing her job correctly, her exposure to radiation is very, very small!.
