Answers:
no such thing as an indirect pulp cap, but there is a direct pulp cap!.

This procedure is usually performed on a nerve that has been compromised, either by trauma or deep decay!. A direct pulp cap is made with an antibiotic cement which is meant to be left to soak into the nerve and hopefully prevent necrosis (dead rotting nerve), as it is an antibiotic it should take 3-5 days to take effect, if there is pain or swelling after this time it means that either the procedure wasn't performed soon enough and the nerve is already dead or it didn't work, give it 7 days to be sure and if you are still experiencing pain go and see your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
