TMJ Question?!

Question: TMJ Question!?
For those of you with TMJ!. How many suffer from a burning sensation after dental work as if they have ripped a muscle along your cheekbone or gumline!. How many of you will feel like all of your teeth are super sensitive on one side or like that are all abcessed for 3-5 days!? Just wondering if I'm the only one who has these feelings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have TMJ but it doesn't bother me hardly at all except that my jaw pops when I chew!. Sometimes it like, locks but I'm used to it and just pop it back!. It never hurts me and my teeth aren't very sensitive, but I've done some reading and know that for lots of people with TMJ it hurts quite a bit!.
The pain after dentalwork may be because of having to hold your jaw open for an extended length of time!. I had to have some work done a while ago and afterword the muscles hurt because of how long I had to hold my mouth open!. The muscles aren't used to that kind of punishment!. A handy piece of plastic they call a "bite block" helped me with that!. They put it in the back of your jaw and it holds your mouth open, allowing you to rest those poor tired jaw muscles!.

You may need surgery to correct your TMJ it if it is causing you this much trouble!. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go visit your dentist!. It's just not worth living with something like that if something can be done to fix it =)
Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
