Question: Is tonsil removal a bad thing!?
My mom suggested that I get my tonsils removed, but my friend tells me that my voice may change if I do get them removed!. I'm in an Advanced Womens' Chorale at school and I'm concerned about this, is the voice changing tonsil rumor true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a singer and I had mine removed at age 12 and it has never caused any issues for me!. If you are getting recurrent tonsil infections, I would ask you to consider getting them removed!. I did and it was never a problem afterwards!. Before I had to miss school and some performances!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no!. tonsil removal is a good thing if you have a lot of probs w/ your tonsils!.!.
