Question: MASSIVE TOOTH PAIN - Help!!?
Long story short:
2 teeth hurt since getting shallow fillings!. When I floss it feels like it will pull my teeth out, they're so tender!.
BUT X-RAYS SHOW NOTHING!!!
For almost 3 months my doc has worked patiently with me!. Now there's an infection in the roof of my mouth next to my "bad" tooth, but the x-rays look perfectly normal!.

WOW! This sounds awful! I've got two guesses: one is that you ARE having an infection or decay that isn't showing up on the x-rays and - I hate to say it - but you might need to have everything re-done, or at least have a blood test to see if any infection shows up that way; two is that I'm wondering if your dentist hit a nerve badly when he gave you your numbing shot - although I would think that would've eased up by now!. Another suggestion - second opinion from another dentist - dental pain is just too awful to have to put up with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
