Question: How can I heal a big fat sore on my lip!?
I was baking one day!.!.!. for a school bake sale!. When I was taking the sugar cookies out of the oven Raised them a little too high and burnt my lip on the pan!. One day later I've got a big red sore on my lip!. My mom said it would take a week to heal, but in a week is my grandparents anniversary and all his crazy old friends will be asking me a bunch of questions about it, and I really have better things at his anniversary to do than answering questions about my lip!. It'll be like that at school too!. And on Wednesday I have an orthodontist appointment and when they're stretching my mouth to get all these x rays it'll really hurt!. What can I do to make it better in say, 3 days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't make your body heal faster than it can!. If you are concerned about the ortho- appt, you may want to consider rescheduling!.!.that definitely won't help it heal faster!. Stretching the sore is going to make the healing process begin over again! It'll ruin the progress!.
Only suggestion I have is to baby it (don't go overboard with the creams!.!.!.the sore needs to breathe to heal) and, come the day, you can' try to put foundation on the skin and use lipstick!. That may disguise whatever will remain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
