What is the source of my ear and jaw pain?!

Question: What is the source of my ear and jaw pain!?
I had my wisdom teeth removed about a month ago with no problems!. However, in the past couple of days I've been experiencing excruciating jaw pain in only one side of my mouth when I bite down or open my mouth too wide, and the pain runs all the way up my cheek to my left ear!. What could this be caused by!? I'm worried that the holes where my wisdom teeth were removed could have become infected, would this do it!? Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would think that the sockets where your wisdom teeth were should be mostly healed by now!. If one of them was infected it should be inflamed and sore!.

I would have your dentist check to see if you have TMJ!. By having your wisdom teeth removed, your other teeth may have moved!. If your bite is off (it's how your top teeth fit together with your bottom teeth) it can cause you jaw pain and give you headaches!.

I have been wearing braces for over two years because of TMJ (I'm 36 yrs old)!. Once my bite was stabilized my headaches stopped in less than two days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a condition called TMJ ( tempro-mandibular joint) pain!. If it continues you probably need to see your dentist!. Pulling your wisdom teeth may have thrown off your bite!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be side effects from having your wisdom teeth out, or you may TMJ!.
