yes as they contain products that physically whiten teeth
but before using them tell him to thoroughly and deeply clean his mouth using a toothpaste like clynomyn as it is specifically designed for smokers and will remove the deposits left by tobacco smoke and tell him to also use a good mouthwash like listerine as this too will get rid of deosits and leave his teeth in a better condition and so he will have better results
i would tell him to leave the strips on for about 15 minutes longe than they say to as this will allow more of the reaction totake place and achieve a better whitening but it depends on how white he wants them natural, bright or hollywood dazzle (sunglasses time!! lol)

The teeth whitening strips may be able to keep up with the effects of smoking!. All he can do is to try!. Our dentist won't whiten my husband's teeth because he smokes a pipe!. He said the teeth wouldn't stay white long enough to pay off!.
He could try Crest Whitening Strips (my dentist recommends them; didn't help me) and their whitening toothpaste, rinse, etc!. It couldn't hurt and may keep them from getting darker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they do work!.!.!. but not as well as they do when u are a non smoker!. i would recommend using crest white strips!. they are a very strong strip and work better than any i have tried in the past!. you get very white teeth in an amount of about 3 to 4 daya!!!! it is great!. that is my suggestion but it seems to work very well!. add flossing to your tooth brushing routine, along with the strips!. I am an adament flosser!. That is the only thing that guareentees white teeth!. Most people would not agree with that!. But if you would smoke a few cigs, then later on floss, you can see the buildup!. Buildup of food, drinks, and cigs causes stained teeth!. If you are not a flosser, become one immediately!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. They will just make his teeth more sensitive and probably cause them to turn more grey rather than white!. If he was to go to the dentist and get his teeth whitened it'd be a different story!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
