Please tell me if I need braces or not?!

Hi there! My name is Angela and I am an Intern Dentist!. I have to tell you that your teeth look very healthy and straight to me! There are no obvious signs of spaces and as for the overbite, it is barely an overbite!!! Your teeth look great, which is why your dentist does not recommend braces!
I would wait a few years to see if there is a significant change in the "shifting" of your teeth!. Then your dentist can recommend braces"!. But for your information, if braces are not recommended by your dentist, and you decide to get them anyway, this will be considered a "cosmetic" procedure, and can be very "costly"!.
