Your mouth produces how many litres of saliva a day?!

It varies quite a bit!.!.!.!.but it's anywhere from 1-2 liters per day!.

True! And that is a good thing! See, the saliva acts as a little cavity fighting army that help "wash away" food debris from the teeth and it's surrounding area!. There are people though with a condition called Xeristomia!. That is a fancy term for dry mouth!. Dry mouth can be caused by a number a things (most commonly certain prescription drugs)!. People with this condition usually have a much higher chance to get cavities and have more dental problems than those who don't!. So be thankful that mouth of "spit"!
