About braces..?!

It all depends on what stage you are in with your treatment!. Only your ortho can tell you that!. Usually when elastics are used, the patient is towards the final stage of treatment!. The rubber bands are used for "fine tuning" the bite!. If you follow the ortho's instructions and wear your elastics like you're supposed to, you will have those braces off in no time!.

I can't tell you for sure if you are close to being done but yes, I believe so!.
My overbite wasn't bad at all really but they just want to do the best they can to make them straight and even!.
Everyonce in a while i would forget to wear them (sometimes for a week at a time)
and I think I wore them for about 2-3 months!. I believe i got my braces off about 2-3 months after that!.
But really it depends!. ARe your teeth pretty straight now!? Do you think theycould be adjusted in anyway to make them better and straight!? If you said yes ot the first one, and no to the second one then you will probaly be getting them off very veyr soon!

Well, personally i had to wear rubber bands for 10 months (that is because i NEVER wore them)!. I bet that if you wear your rubber bands, the orthodonists will start to talk about you getting your braces off soon before summer ends!

i wear braces and if these bands are the ones you insert everyday your self , then not lond but for god sake use them, if you dnt then your prolonging treatment !. if these bands are bands the dentist insterts and you have no control over ( the ones i have ) then less then btween 2 - 3 months !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got my rubber bands too[for overbite probably] and i just got my braces dec!.2007 and i think that you keep them on for a couple of months!. it works really fast i guess!. i am still kinda shocked how rubber bands can really change your teeth like that;

++ i never were my ruberbands!.!.!. but i didnt have your problem!.!.!. but just wear them anyways!.!.!. haha!. my orthodontist hated me! >_<

no it doesn't nessarsarly mean that you are coming towards the end i had rubber bands for 1 year and if wear them as much as possible i think it will take a few months maybe but good luck w/ your braces :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well i had my braces on for 4 years and i just got them off the other day if you wear your rubber bands maybe like in 4months they can come off!.!.!.!.!.it depends on your teeth!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
