Awkward situation/question?!

Question: Awkward situation/question!?
yeah, so i have this retainer [post braces] and its the normal plastic and metal one!. but anyways ive had it for awhile
and then i broke it
so i havent been wearing it or anything - let alone brushing it
but tomorrow im going to the orthodontist to get it fixed - and its covered in this gross white plaque-ey stuff
how do i get rid of it!?!?!?
i was thinking id like soak it in hydrogen peroxide or something [if its not toxic]
but
what can i do!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try vinegar!. That's what my orthodontist suggested I use when mine develops white residue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can use vinegar - OR you can use the polident cleanser that older folks use on dentures!. Either one will work !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those denture cleaning tablets would work!. But probably soaking it in water with baking soda would help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
