It is not clear whether you actually need dentures!. You do have some teeth left!. Have your dentist find out if that what is left can be saved with crowns and bridges or a telescopic bridge!. If you have the money, implants should be considered as well!. Acrylic dentures are certainly the worst option!. They put pressure on your jaw bone!. This will degrade the bone and in a couple of years the denture will not stay in place!. You also say some of your teeth are missing!. Have something done about that!. If a tooth has no antagonist, it will eventually elongate, i!.e!. grow into the gap!. This is not just uncomfortable it also makes any prosthetic work more complex and hence more expensive!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can at all possibly avoid dentures do you are yng to be going into dentures !.Go to you dentist for a check up find out how bad you problems are !.Sometimes if you dont have any severe gum disease and/or decay teeth can be saved !.The teeth that are already gone could be replaced by partial or implant the best thing to do is consult with your dentist and find out if you have any other options!.Most of the time unless you are miserable all the time with a toothache dentures wont be much better mmost people seem to do ok with upper dentures and lower denture are a headache because they dont stay put very well and are not very good to chew with !.If you could keep just a few lower teeth and get lower partial and upper denture at least the lower would have something to help keep it inWww@Answer-Health@Com
