Is carbonation bad for your teeth in mineral water?!

Question: Is carbonation bad for your teeth in mineral water!?
I feel like I've heard "soda's bad for your teeth because it's carbonated, stay away from carbonated beverages"
but I also think that the only thing I've read about why soda makes cavities so fast is it's acidity and sugar content!.
So what about mineral water!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Hi, I'm a dentist!.

The carbonation is what is acidic!.!.!.it comes from carbonic acid, and the bubbles come from the breakdown of carbonic acid into carbon dioxide (the bubbles) and water!.

Yes, anything that has carbonation is acidic, and acidity will leech mineral from teeth!. Drink in moderation, and you will be fine!.

I hope that clears it up for you!. Pay more attention in chemistry class! ;-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
