Suggestion box or something else (Rude secretary at dentists office)?!

Question: Suggestion box or something else (Rude secretary at dentists office)!?
I hate going to my kids dentist office because I know I will have to deal with their rude, know it all secretary who checks out patients!. I work 2 jobs and I admit I have not been diligent in getting their cleanings on time (they have no cavities and are in good health)!. This woman read me the riot act yesterday as I was checking out , basically calling me a neglectful parent!. It was hellish because she did it for the entire 5 minutes I was checking out!. I didnt ask for her output and I think she should be locked away in back away from any customer contact!. I noticed on my way out they had a suggestion box!. I am not one to cause a fuss but I have had it with this holier than though witch!. What would you do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Instead of writing something and tossing it into the suggestion box, you may want to send the dentist a letter and mark it 'personal and confidential' on the outside!.

If the 'witch' is the one reading the suggestions, yours will certainly be tossed!. By sending the letter directly to him, he will open it himself!.

It is not her responsibility to reprimand you, especially in front of your children, for anything!. Period!.

Good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would have not put up with it!. I would have talked to her boss (the dentist) and explained what she is doing and how it makes you feel!. And I would confront her and tell her nicely!.!.!.thank you for the input on my children's dental cares, and I appreciate your concern, but It really isn't her business as you have discussed it with their dentist, her boss!. And if it continues, don't be nice anymore!.!.!.!.and tell her to mind her own business!. Ans that you DO NOT need her lecture!!!!!!good luck!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ring up requesting to speak to the practice manager and if she is the practice manager request to speak to the dentist and tell them what you just told us!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely speak to the dentist directly!. It would be even better if you had a written letter documenting exactly what happened that you can hand the dentist at the same time!. Chances are you aren't the only person complaining, and maybe all he needs is one more solid reason to send her packing!.

The dentist won't want to see his staff getting in the way of having people seek dental treatment!. It isn't fair to the kids to be missing out on care because of this, and the office needs to be a positive environment so that people will feel at ease coming back!. Also, dental practices also have a "small business" aspect to them where it's important that patients aren't lost---And even more important that they aren't telling everyone else to avoid the practice! For these reasons, the dentist is quite likely to take your concerns very seriously!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
