Question: Am I the only one that gags on the bitewing when getting dental xrays!?
I just cannot tolerate those large bitewings put deep down my mouth, I always gag and the nurses always treat me like if I were the only person in the world with this problem!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no I gaged too plus when they clean your teeth with that junk, that always made me gag as well!.!. Its like you want to ask the person thats giving it to you, if they'd ever had that same thing done!.!. more than likely they haven't!.!.!. so I think that they need to practice on themselves so that they will know how there patients feel!.!.!. probably won't happen but its a good thought right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
No you most definitely aren't!. I'm a radiographer and have taken many dental x -rays and about 2 in every 10 gag!!! Don't worry they are probably over worked and grumpy!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
no and if you tell them in advance that you generally gag then they are much more understanding!. I gag on most anything someone else puts in my mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
