Stick with eating soft foods for a while, DO NOT drink out of a straw!. You dont want to do anything that causes you to "suck" (hence the straw) this can dislodge the blood clot!. Smoking is also an no go, if you're a smoker!.

Keep the holes packed with guaze, do not smoke, do not drink out of a straw and do what the dentist tells you to do!. I've had them and they are horrible!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Do not suck on anything!! Straws, ciggs (if you smoke) nothing!. Sucking can pull the blood clot out and you get a dry socket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
