I just got rubberbands!. I really need to speed up this process!. will it make it go faster if i wear two rubber bands at once, opposed to wearing one on each side [like the dr!. said to do]!? please help!.

Will it speed up the process!? Possibly, but here's the thing - if you move your teeth too fast, it will damage the roots of your teeth!. Also you could end up over correcting and then have to switch up the rubber bands to undo what you did (causing treatment to take longer)!. Your best bet is to do what's asked!. But for sure go ahead and ask the ortho if he/she would be OK with it!. The doc knows your case, not any of us!. (and it never hurts to ask the question, right!?)

Wearing two rubber bands won't speed the process up at all and can actually cause damage!. That much constant pressure on brackets are not good, can weaken the brackets, and can actually pull them off, officially putting you back on square one!. Believe me, I know that braces are a pain, but wearing the extra rubber bands won't make it go any faster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Nothing can speed up the process except making sure you wear them at all times (except when eating)!. I had braces, wore my rubberbands properly when I was supposed to and got them off 5 months early!. I have a friend who got hers on, never wore the rubberbands, and it took her 5 years before they came off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ive had braces 2x and i would do whatever the doc says!.!.!.!.if he says rubber bands!.!.!.wear those things!.!.!.and he probably only wants one!.!.!.i would check with him before you make any major decisions concerning your teeth!.!.!.!.good luck with braces i know they are no fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i think it will!. cuz if you put more rubberbands there will be more pressure!. therefore working faster!. but then again you should listen to what ur orthodontist says!. cuz ur never to sure if the teeth might move the wrong wayWww@Answer-Health@Com

no it will just make your teeth do the opposite of what you want them to do!. listen to what your orthodontist says!. they went through 10 years of college to do what they do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
