I'm afraid of looking stupid with my braces...?!
Question: I'm afraid of looking stupid with my braces!.!.!.!?
I just can't see myself wearing them!. I am sure I will look stupid!. I know, I have to get used to them, but I am just not looking forward to having hunks of metal on my teeth fro two years!. I guess I should just savor these next 2 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I totally understand where you're coming from!. I'm 14 and I was like you!.!.!.I just couldn't see myself having braces without looking ridiculous!. But you know what!? They don't look as bad as I thought they would!.
I guess after having them on for nearly two years they don't look as bad cause I'm used to them!. Don't worry, you will get used to them really quickly!.
And it's not even uncomfortable!. You can't really even feel them!. It only hurts a bit when you get them on and when they tighten them!.
Yes, ENJOY the time you have before you get them on!.!.!.drink lots of coke, eat chewy lollies, eat popcorn, minties, all the stuff you're not supposed to eat!.
However, if you're like me, you won't be able to last without all that food and you will eat it anyway :)

I had to get braces at 23 years old!. Talk about feeling weird about braces! I felt like I was way too old to have braces, and that I would feel very awkward about the whole situation!.
But, after a while I got used to seeing them and now I don't even notice them!. If you can be totally comfortable with yourself such a young age, then I'm sure you won't have any problem getting used to braces!. And yeah, eat all the popcorn, chewy candy, and nuts you can stand before you get braces, cuz they are off-limits! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes deffinitely eat chewy candy like starbursts and eat TONS of popcorn
i have braces and i CAN eat that stuff but i have to eat very carefully
im sure they wont look that bad on me you dont even notice them unless i smile

first because i saw the braces were
a bit crooked but that was because
of my teeth that weren't straight!.
but remind your self that you
are wearing them for your
own good!. and that two years
from now it will all be worth it

well i cant see myself in braces either and i have to wear them for 2 years im getting them on JULY 14th and im not excited i also have glasses im a pretty girl i think because people do ask me out and everything cuz i only use my glasses in class and im near sided so yea idk thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
i thought i was goona look terrible with my braces and i didnt look that bad!. at first the braces dont look right cuz you arent used to seeing them, but after a week or so the braces start to fit you and your face!.!.!. you will see, Good Luck!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wear d braces now and enjoy d rest of ur time without them!.!.!.its better to wear them at this age rather than having to wear them when u are older (18yrs or so)!.!.!.trust me!.!.!.2 yrs will pass!.!.!.!.who cares what other ppl think!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
