2 of my teenagers had very extensive, probably the most involved jaw surgery, including breaking and cutting, which it doesn't sound as if you need!. The risks are the same as any surgical procedure with general anaesthetic, and you will be tested for any possible emergency in advance!. Jaws were not wired shut, but you may be different!. Weight loss was not an issue at all!. Swelling was the big thing, no pun intented, black eyes too!. This will all pass and is for the best!. They recovered in a month, saw the surgeon at a month, and in a year!. Results were 100 percent, and the surgery is common and well practised, so you will be fine!. It is just an unavoidable inconvenience!. With all people, if it's not one thing, it's another!? Chin up & best of luck!. Think of good things after you get out, as it is so short compared to all of the benefits you will enjoy in the future!. And don't worry if you lose your sense of taste or smell, and relax with the swelling and pain!. It can be done!Www@Answer-Health@Com
