If your only problem is a small space you can talk to your general dentist about some options!. Veneers or bonding could work for you!. Some general dentists also do a small amount of orthodontal work without seeing a orthodontist!. But one retainer is not going to fix a space!. If you have other teeth that are out of alignment or the space is large you should see an orthodontist to talk about invisalign or even braces!. There are ceramic brackets that are not that noticable!. I would talk to your regular dentist at your next check-up first and they can tell you if they can fix it for you or if you need to be referred to an orthodontist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
