Question: I'm nervous and scared about getting my braces!.!.!.!?
heyy!. i got spacers a couple days ago and its going okay!.!.!.i'm getting braces in two weeks and i'm scared!. i'm scared it will hurt and stuff!.!. can someone help me feel better about getting them!? like tell me how you felt when you were getting braces!?!? =[Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont get wooried or to worked up about them they dont hurt most people they didnt hurt me at all but it can hurt some people depending on the situation!.!.!.!.!.just relax and do what your ortho tells you to!.!.!.!.!.well wen you go to the appointment if the spacers havent fallen out then firstly they will take them out
first off they give your teeth a real good clean
then they wipe then with this liquid that helps the surface of the teeth attach with the glue which comes next!.
the glue is kind of like a cement and it get put on the back teeth first then a bracket goes on top of that glue!. they will keep doing this until they have reached the front!. then its time for the arch wire!. they start from oen side of the mouth then go to the other adjusting the tightness of the wire and bending it (if nessacary) then they will cut of the ends of the protruding wire!. if you get colours these get put on after the wire so yer :> then you will have your braces on and they will probably take some photos to add to your before photos :> you wont have to hold you mouth open either because they use these plastic mouth appliances now that allow the orthodontist to reach all the teeth with your mouth barely open by pulling the side wires which is better ;>
you will have like this tight feel across the whole teeth( dont worry i liked this feel to be honest)!.!. and then after about 30 mins some people get pains and have to take a pain reliever
you might find it hard to eat at first but just start on baby food, mash potatoes, rice, noodles etc then you will be able to bite into things again soon enough!.
ps!. if you are getting clear braces dont eat chicken soup when you first get them or through out your whole treatment as they discolour and yer you obviously no the rest it happened to one of my friends!. also with clear braces avoid foods and drink with colours that arent naturally found in the ingredients or the colour is added like dramatically

I had braces for 3 years when I was growing up!. Honestly, from what I can remember it doesn't really hurt at all to get braces put in!. Maybe your mouth will be a bit sore or achey at first but it doesn't really hurt a bunch!. The thing that hurts the most about braces is that every month or so you go to get them tightened!. But, even then it's not that they hurt so much as things just feel kinda tighter or sore/achey!. Nothing to worry about!. Since you go to see the orthodontist or dentist so much to have them tightened you will get to know him/her and you will get used to the whole procedure in no time!. There are even different colored rubber bands that they let you choose from!. And, think about how great you will look after you get them off!. I am so glad that my parents made the decision to get me braces!. My teeth are perfect now!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
All my cousins had braces and they at first did not like it because of not being able to eat certain things (that usually arent good for you anyways) and the feeling of it!. But once it was time to take them off they were really happy to know that there teeth were PERFECT! and the freedom there teeth felt!.
Just believe that it is for the good of you because it really is you know!.

dont worry about it!. im getting braces too and everyones told me that is doesnt hurt while there doing it but a couple hours later!.
you cant really eat anything solid or hard after that for over a week, probably longer but i wouldnt worry!.

I wanna be honest with you!.!. if you have teeth like a horse!.!.!. it will hurt as hell!.!.!. I had braces for 3 years but I forgot to take them out so I stay with them for another 3 years hehe!.!.
Every month the doctor will make changes so you will have problem eating for a couple of days but you get used to!.

it doesnt hurt AT ALL getting them on!. but you best stock up on like yogurts and stuff!.!. because like 6 hours later and for up to a week after itll hurt like a b@*&!!. get some liek advil or motrin too!. also, it doesnt matter if you eat omething on that list of what not toeat!. i ate errthang and it was all good!. dont be scared tho!.!. i wasnt and it relaly paid off! my teeth are straight and i get compliments on them almost errday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
its not scary and defiantly doesn't hurt when you get them on!. After a while they hurt a bit but you get used to it!. Don't be scared because the orthodontist who will do the procedure probably has done it many times!. Just relax and you will have perfect teeth in no time!Www@Answer-Health@Com
braces are easy i just got them like 2 weeks ago and they only hurt like the first 2-3 days so make sure you have alot of pudding and yogurt or apple sauce and shakes are really good but they really arent as bad as they sound if u wanna talk more about them email me :DWww@Answer-Health@Com
Wow i feel bad for you!.!.!.My best friend got braces about 4 months ago and his pain has still not left!.!.!.he is constantly in pain and the only thing that makes him feel better is vicodin!.!.!.i think he may be getting addicted!.!.!.hopefully it won't go as bad for you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They dont hurt while their putting them on!. But they sure do hurt like hell the day after!. Truth is the truth!. But you'll get used to them ^_^Www@Answer-Health@Com
