Don't believe the guy that wrote the tremendously long post!. None of it's true!. He just gets his jollies from spreading the wrong information!.

In terms of what to expect, it's nothing to even worry about!. Since the nerve of the tooth has been removed already, you won't feel any pain!. There won't be any surprises for you!.

What they'll do is open the tooth up!.
Melt/soften the gutta percha in the canals and remove it!.
Locate and determine the number of canals in the tooth!.
Establish the working length of each canal!.
Instrument (clean) and fill it up again!.
Evaluate 6 months, 12 month, 18 months

If the infected area does not go away during your recall visits, it'll be observed to see if it gets bigger or if you are feeling pain in that area!. If it starts hurting or the radiolucency gets bigger, then extraction is recommended!. If it's staying the same size, then it'll be under observation for a year and a half and left alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not any easier, and in fact is a little more difficult for the dentist!. As far as you're concerned, it shouldn't really be any different than when you had it done the first time!. It may take a little longer however!.

The problem with redoing a root canal is that since it has been done once (or more) before, the dentist/endodontist has to remove all the filling material that was placed in the canals the first time!. This sometimes takes awhile!.

Also, since the root canal failed before, it's possible that there are more canals in there than originally thought, or the canal system may be more complicated than normal, which will take more time!.

On the other hand, it should be easier to numb up because there aren't any nerves in the tooth (or shouldn't be)!.

So basically I wouldn't expect this appointment to be much different than the first time around, except it may take a little longer!.

You should be fine though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just has one re-done 2 months ago!. They will drill into your new cap, if you have had it installed already!. Then just do a regular root canal!. The problem I had was them matching my cap color with a filler!.

Even though the nerves have been removed the Dentist must remove the material that was inserted into the canals!.Lots of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The procedure is done exactly like the 1st time!. The endodonist will clean out the canals and refill them with gutta percha just like the 1st time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gutta percha is a terrible material to fill a root canal with!. It does not fill the entire canal and many problems result!. The correct material should be a product like EndoCAL10!. This is an FDA approved material that expands in the canal and fills it, even the small micro canals!. The real problem is that root canals are causing huge problems that most people are not even aware!. It is called Cavitations or NICO!. This is a deterioration of the bone below the root tip!. When dentists use hypochlorite to sanitize the root canal before putting the filling in, this only kills about 30% of the bacteria!. There is no pain in Cavitations!. So you will not be aware of the deterioration and infections that are breeding there!. Since the cavitations cause the destruction of capillaries that supply blood to the bone area, this loss of blood supply allows the infections to fester and more bone destruction is the result!.

Dentists are not trained to see NICO on x-rays and so, what you get is an infection that no one is addressing!. These infections have now been linked to many diseases in the body, depending upon which tooth the infection is in!. Over 60% of the NICO happens in the molars!. These infections can be typically in the Breast energy pathways and they reflex to the breast!. Recently, in Europe, the Breast Cancer clinics have discovered 98% of ALL breast cancer patients have rood canals in the Breast energy pathways! The first thing they do now is to remove the canal fillings and redo them all and sanitize them to get some control over the infections!. They are now getting huge positive results in Breast Cancer victims!.

The molars typically reflex to the heart and arteries as well as many other major organs in the body!. Tooth #19 energy pathway goes primarily to: Veins, arteries, large intestine, lung, shoulder and elbow, hand, radial foot, big toe, ethmoid cells, and C5, C6, C7, T2,T3, T4, L4, and L5 vertebrae!.

The problem is that the cavitations expand and start affecting the adjacent teeth and the problem grows!.

You need to really question what this endodontist procedures are and make sure you are educated on this subject because your health will depend on it!. Since they found infection in the canal, I would strongly suspect much deeper infections that were not identified!. This is not a trivial matter in regard to the health of your entire body!. The right procedure is more costly to do and most of the dentists will resist what I have told you for many reasons, but the truth is what it is and you need to look way beyond their agendas and demand the right procedures!.

If any amalgams are in your mouth or crowns with dissimilar metals are there, those must be removed and fixed by a qualified biological dentist!. If a crown is made of composite, most of them have amalgam coatings under them and this is a huge problem, as well!. There are ALWAYS infection under the amalgams and these fillings leach mercury out on a constant basis!.

The California State Board of Dental Examiners, by unanimous vote, approved a two-page document entitled "Dental Materials Fact Sheet!." The purported intent of this document is to encourage discussion between patient and dentist in the selection of denial materials best suited to the patient's dental health, and it will be made available to all licensed dentists in California!. The Board agreed that elemental mercury is a toxic substance, and it acknowledged that research has shown that free mercury can escape from amalgam filling and be absorbed by the body!. The document even states:

Some elements contain in composites have been determined to be cytotoxic and carcinogenic!. It is now required by the state that dentist must give this document to patients or they can lose their license to practice!.

In the early 1800s the National Association of Dental Surgeons actually advocated the elimination of mercury amalgam, but its cheapness kept many dentists using it in spite of its toxicity!. This Association disbanded several decades later, and the precursor to today's American Dental Association (ADA), the National Dental Association, came into being, proclaiming amalgam's safety, although this was just a political statement then, as it is now, For the longest time, it was simply asserted by the ADA that the mercury amalgam (composed of approximately 50% mercury, along with copper, tin, silver and zinc) was a tightly bound chemical complex that would not permit any leakage or release of mercury!. This was proved conclusively wrong by Vimy and Lorscheider in 1985 when they demonstrated that the air inside the mouth with amalgams continually contained elemental mercury vapor, and the dynamic of chewing increased this vapor level substantially!. Further studies have now shown that if you have a crown with a dissimilar metal like gold, for instance, the release of mercury was found to be 80 times faster!

Elemental mercury vapor that emanates from the amalgams is almost completely inhaled, little of it being lost outside of the mouth and body!. Such inhalation allows for a rapid and complete absorption across the alveolar membrane in the lungs!. This mercury easily crosses the blood/brain barrier (the brain and nervous system's natural defense against many toxic substances) subsequently binding very strongly to the sulfur containing proteins of the nervous tissue!. This same affinity for binding sulfur allows its deposit in virtually all of the body's other tissues and organs!. In fact, the much-maligned scapegoat in today's health, cholesterol, appears to actually afford a protective mechanism against the slow and insidious release of mercury into the bloodstream by binding it up and allowing it to be excreted before it gets its grips into any of the body's tissues!. High cholesterol levels may represent just a healthy metabolism doing its best to neutralize the continual release of a toxin!. Patients who undergo amalgam removal consistently show shifts of their cholesterol into or toward the normal range, often within days of such removal!.

This is a study that was done at the University of Calgary School of Medicine on the effects of mercury in brain tissue!. This is a peer reviewed study and verified by the University of Tennessee!. The amount of mercury used in this experiment was 100 to 1,000 times less than what comes out of a single amalgam filling when you brush the filling!

Yet, with all this evidence, the ADA has taken the position that it's o!.k!. to use amalgam fillings!. They are not our friends!. In fact, they are not the dentists friends either!.

Based on available scientific data, the ADA has determined through the adoption of Resolution 42H-1986 that the removal of amalgam restoration from the non-allergic patient for the alleged purpose of removing toxic substances from the body, when such treatment is performed solely at the recommendation or suggestion of the dentist, is improper and unethical!. (emphasis mine)

In other words, the ADA is telling the dentists of America that they don't have the right to counsel their patients regarding the poisonous effects of mercury, unless, of course, they don't mind losing their licenses to practice dentistry!. Patient beware! If you don't believe this, just ask your dentist to tell you the three reasons the ADA will allow them to remove your amalgam fillings and you will be shocked to see what they tell you!. Ask them!.

After CBS-TV ran a 60 Minutes segment on the amalgam issue in December of 1990, the Washington State Dental Association, amazingly, promptly informed its members that their patients did not have a right to know that their "silver fillings" contained mercury!. Moreover, that segment purportedly received the highest viewer response ever, but it's never been repeated, despite the fact that other episodes are frequently rerun!. Is there another unknown agenda here!?
In April, 1994, the Journal of the American Dental Association, in an analysis of a review of the benefits and risks of dental amalgam conducted by the US Public Health Service (USPHS) and published in 1993, made prominent note of the estimated costs for replacement of dental amalgams in the entire country!. It was stated that one-time replacement of all existing amalgams in permanent posterior teeth would cost 248 billion dollars!. It was further pointed out that the increased cost in 1990 had alternative restorative materials been used instead of the amalgams that were placed in the 96 million treated teeth would have been 12!.4 billion dollars!. Money usually talks, and that's a lot of money!. Actually money doesn't just talk, it SCREAMS!. And do you actually think that NO class action law suits would come out of this if the ADA admitted this lunacy has been allowed while the overwhelming evidence is against them!?

You need to realize that so called "modern dentistry" may be modern, but not the high quality of care that you have believed!. It's time to free yourself of the lies you believe!. Educate yourself as to what is good and bad, for your health's sake!.

good luck to us allWww@Answer-Health@Com
