What can I do about my teeth? EMERGENCY PLZ HELP!!?!

Question: What can I do about my teeth!? EMERGENCY PLZ HELP!!!?
I lost my retainer about 2 years ago and if I tell my parents, they are going to murder me! They'd probably be so mad, they wouldn't take me to get a new one since it's been so long!. I don't know what to do, I don't even have enough money to pay for it! Would my orthodontist still have a copy or mold of my old retainers if I called him up!? And will I need braces again!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Most likely your orthodontist would not keep the mold for your old retainer!. You will probably have to have another one made!. There are retainers that can be made to straighten teeth that have moved!. If there is not a lot of shifting, you can probably get away with a retainer!.

You can call your orthodontist to find out what the replacement fee is!. Then, when you tell your parents you will have all of the information!. They will probably be upset, but I would bet they will want you to get a new retainer!. They spent a lot of money on getting your teeth straightened!. Maybe you could offer to pay for half after you tell them what happened!.

Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

After 2 years why are you just now worried about it!?
Your teeth have probably sifted so your getting a remake of your lost retainer would probably be worthless now!. Take the bull by the horns and call your orthodontist and discuss it with them!. They may have a really good suggestion for you!. By the way, if I were your parents I would be extremely mad--braces are not cheap!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your dentist will make you pay for another one!. If it's been 2 years I really wouldn't bother!. I have braces for 7 years and never wore my retainer after and my teeth are beautiful and straight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can go to any orthodontist!.!.doesn't have to be the same one!.
explain your situation!.

if your teeth have not shifted too much out of place!.!.!.they will make a new mold (very easy to do) and order new retainers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
