Question: Which are provide better results, invisalign braces or metal braces!?
I am asking because i want my husband to use them, but he thinks that the invisaligns wont be as affective!? and how long do the invisaligns take to do the same thing as the metals!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Invisiline, the proprietary brand name using clear splints instead of metal bands and braces to orthodontically move teeth, can do virtually everything that can be done with conventional braces!. Here is the problem-in order for them to be effective, they must be worn!. bonded braces cannot be removed, these clear splints can, it is all about patient compliance!. I doubt if you will see invisiline replace regular band and wire appliances, because one group of ortho candidates, children from 12 through 16 are not historically complaint with removable appliances in their mouth, especially if they hurt, and tooth movement can be painful!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
It all depends on why you need braces!. Invisalign tend not to be able to help in more serious cases or cases involving bite problems -- they just don't work as well!.!.!. and I know an adult who had invisilign and then got stuck in regular braces for the end of treatment because she couldn't get the results she wanted!.
I am an adult in braces and I have "metal brackets"!. I actually am using self-ligating Damon's, which are half-clear on my top 6 and then metal everywhere else!. I was not a candidiate for Invisalign because of my bite!.!.!. and I honestly wanted to experience the fun of braces!. Braces can really become an accessory and are gratefully more acceptable for adults to wear now --- employers don't care and most people stop noticing after the first couple of times they see you!. You will be offered popcorn or peanuts before you know it!
You can get clear brackets too, they come now in both traditional style and self-ligating!. They also have lingual braces, which go behind the teeth and no one can ever see them!.
My recommendation would be to get some evals in your area!. Find out what type of treatment you are actually needing!. Look at your options because not everyone can even get invisalign, so you might be worrying over nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, first off, invisaline is not cheaper!.!.!.its more expensive!.
secondly, invisaline is all cosmetic, and not improve the bite!. so if your husband's smile is not right bite wise, invisaline wont be as affective

invisaligns rn't as affective but since ur husband is an adult and his teeth rn't growning anymore invisalign's might be better for him!. the time it will take depends on how severe the case is!. and invisalign braces turn yellow after a while- no matter how much u brushWww@Answer-Health@Com
I think they both give the same results, but traditional metal braces are faster in straightening your teeth than invisalign!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
