Question: What meds do dentists typically prescribe for BAD toothaches!?!?
going to the dentist tomorrow and I know they won't be able to get all the work done at once!. What , if any meds do dentists usually prescribe for pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A smart dentist will give you a prescription of ibuprofen that is prescription strength and tell you to take it every 6 hours!.!.!.!. prescription strength is the same as you taking 600 mg of over the counter meds!.!.!. A dentist that just wants to physiologically make you fell happy will give you hydrocodiene!.!.!.!.!. but actually due to recent studies 600 mg of ibu taken consistently provides more pain relief than hydro(lorotab)!.!.!. so if you want to help your pain you can do it in large by yourself but realized it will take approximately 36-48 hours to feel the real effects of ibuprofen!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibiotic and either Motrin or Vicodin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
