Question: Molar with filling hurts occasionally (not often), leave alone or not!?
the morlar has a big chunk of filling for many years!. Recently it has hurt a few times while eating!. Most times it doesn't hurt at all!. Can I leave it alone for a while until it hurts more!? Or is it urgent!? Why does it hurt!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

How long did it start to hurt after you got the filling!?

The reason it might hurt is that tooth decay or caries is under the filling or around it!. This happens quite often!. If you leave it alone it might erode your tooth away and go deeper and deeper and cause more serious problems and you might even need a root canal!.
Best thing is to go to the dentist and an xray would probably tell if there is further tooth decay under your filling!.
