Question: How do I know if I am physically able to do dentistry!?
Can anyone think of an exercise or task which could determine if i have the manual dexterity required for a dental career!? I have the artistic flair and love science but i dont know if i have enough finesse!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you type well!? That takes manual dexterity!. So does playing a musical instrument!. I think you should go for it if that is what you want to do!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try balance something and working with it like you would a pen!. And you need steady hands!. Any dental school you apply to will test your dexterity at your interview, they don't want you working on their subjects if you can't hold a drill properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get a part time job in a dental office and help the different staff to do their work like pour models, create setups and other lab work projects!.

If you are good with science and get very good grades!.!.!.IN COLLEGE!.!.!.then you are probably fit for dentistry!. Try studying for th DAT (Dental Admissions Test) and take it and see how you do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
