If you had a medical emergency, theres always the hospital BUT what if you have a dental emergency and you need a dentist in a hury !?

There are some dentist offices that have emergency lines, check your Yellow Pages or the internet!. Otherwize your gonna have to wait until tommorrow!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Either way you go to the hospital (assuming this is a medical emergency, though related somehow to your teeth)!. If not, it's not really an emergency that would put your life at risk, in such a case, you would head to a dentist!.
Any situation that poses an immediate threat to your life, an emergency, should be treated by a medical doctor, preferably at a hospital; no matter the nature of the emergency!.

I'm not acctually sure, although I know that there are special emergency levels at dental hospitals!. That's what my dentist told me to do, go to the nearest emergency level of a dental hopsital!. Not sure if you could go to a normal hospital!?!?
They really need to do something about the dental system, I have been waiting over 6 months to get a tooth pulled out under general anaesthetic!. For some weird reason they prefer to do it under general anaesthetic, not local! I basically have no tooth left now, it is decayed so badly, past the gum and suffer from toothaches etc!. they said the latest they can call me in will be december, and even the dentist said that i should be aware of the dental emergency system!.
You also have to be in EXTREME pain and their are certain qualifications you have to have (have a search on google) for it to be qualified as an emergency!. Apparantly a tooth that is decayed past the gum line, and causing me extreme pain and chips off whenever i eat something isn't even considered a priority !

If you have a dentist that you usually go to you can call him or her, but if not, there is always ambasol!. Sorry I couldn't help further, but there is not too much you can do on the weekends are far as dental emergencies go!. The reason is, is that while a dental emergency is painful, it is not life threatning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The dentist will usually have an emergency number listed!. If you cannot find one!. Then a 24 hour clinic or hospital may be able to do something to relieve the pain!. They may just examine and medicate you until you can get to your local dentist!.

Check your phone book and see if any dentists advertise emergency or after hours appointments!. Where I live we have one that is open really late in the evening and on weekends!. Probably if you live in a small town, you will have a harder time finding one, but I think alot of the bigger cities would have some type of emergency dental service!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Depending on what the emergency was, I would still probably go to the emergency room (a tooth that was knocked out)!. They should at least be able to provide emergency triage and know how to get a hold of a dentist or an oral surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can still go to the hospital and they will notify an dentist for you!. and there is such a thing of 24hrs emergency dentist just look it up in your hometown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
