EXCELLENT oral hygiene, but still bad teeth?!

Question: EXCELLENT oral hygiene, but still bad teeth!?
Notice the capitalized text, I brush my teeth 6+ times a day, floss at least 3 times, and don't eat or drink pretty much anything without at least brushing my teeth afterwards!. However cavities are growing, and my dentist cannot, or should I say will not believe my about my practices!. This has steadily been getting worse over the years which is why my hygiene practices are so drastic!.

Its getting to the point I would rather have my teeth pulled and wear dentures than go another day knowing my efforts are in vain!. What treatment options are available!? What can I do about it!? My teeth seem to be either very soft or self-destructive, what can I do to strenghten/rebuild my enamal in my teeth!? I've really lost all hope!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try a toothpaste called Sensodyne Pronamel and the Act Restoring mouthwash!. I would reduce the amount of brushing back to 3 times maximum daily and floss twice a day!. If all else fails, look into Lumineers, they are porcelain veneers, and are painless as opposed to original veneers and look great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, stop brushing that much
you are wearing down your teeth's enamel and DAMAGING your teeth!.
2 or 3 times a day is good!.
Genetics could play a major roll in the reason you are getting so many cavities!. If your parents had bad teeth, most likely you will too!. Sorry!. :/Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suspect you're wearing your tooth enamel down with all that brushing, and probably irritating your gums with all that flossing!. If the tooth enamal becomes thinner than normal, it's easier for decay to gain a foothold and lead to cavities!.

There's NO reason to brush one's teeth 6 times a day!. In fact, I'm surprised that your dentist hasn't told you to stop brushing so excessively!. This is one of those examples of "too much of a good thing!." :( You're going to keep losing enamel if you don't ease up on the brushing!. THREE times a day should be the maximum!.

One thing you can do to help build up your enamal is to use a "sensitive teeth" toothpaste such as Sensodyne, or any toothpaste with potassium nitrate as an active ingredient!. I eroded some of my enamal by using a "whitening" toothpaste for too long, and developed painful sensitivity to cold and sweet!. But I'm not kidding when I say that Sensodyne REALLY did help! :) However, it sounds like your tooth enamal is probalby in much worse shape than mine!. Please talk with a doctor about this -- and good luck!!

P!.S!. I just thought of something else that might help: ask your dentist if you can have the fluoride treatments normally reserved for children!. I'm referring to the ones where they fill little C-shaped foam things with fluoride-containing, flavored gel and you hold them in your mouth for X number of minutes!. And afterwards you're not supposed to eat or drink anything for 30 or 60 minutes, to avoid washing away the fluoride before it's fully absorbed!.

Anyhoo, again, GOOD luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
