Question: Tooth Pain!!?
i got a filling on one of my back tooth about 2 weeks ago!. The doctor said it was a deep cavity!. About 4 days ago, out of nowhere it started to hurt SO BAD when any liquid entered it (especially cold)!. So i went to my dentist and he just cleaned it and said id have to wait for the pain to subside since the cavity was pretty deep!. But it hurts a lot when liquid enters it!. What should I do!? Well Grace isn't totally right!. If it was a deep cavity it is probable that the filling came very close to the nerve!. Sometimes it can take weeks for it to "settle down"!. the worst case scenario is that you will need a root canal!. he is probably waiting to see if it calms down by itself before suggesting that!. So if he "cleaned" it what does that mean!? Have you not been brushing and flossing!? At least dry brush thoroughly and floss daily for sure!. It's never going to get better if you let the plaque start building up on it! That's what caused the deep decay in the first place!. Your job is to keep it clean, your dentist's job is to be sure the filling is properly placed and if it doesn't calm down to suggest a root canal!. It's not his fault you had a deep cavity! You can go have a second opinion if you are not confident with his assessment of the situation!.

ps: your comment about bad breath is an indicator that you may not be brushing and flossing adequately, you may also have untreated gum disease!. See your dental hygienist for more information regarding thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should see your dentist, and kick his @#%%! You paid good money for him to fill the cavity and RELIEVE you of the pain!. You also paid good money for this procedure!. You should be free of pain!. (don't care whether it was deep or not, that is why your dentist went to school is to SOLVE you dental problems)!. You should not be having ANY pain after a couple days!. ( getting over minor discomfort from surgery)!. Talk to your dentist immediately!!! He needs to make it right for you without any added charges!!. Kick Tooth and take names! You spent good money, He should make it right!Www@Answer-Health@Com
