Question: Does anyone know if the dentist can treat me without!.!.!.!.!?
Squirting air or water on my teeth or using the suction machine!. I have exceptionally sensitive teeth and cant bear any of these things, I need some fillings but dont want to go but it has gotten too bad to ignore now!. Either that or some non-prescription drugs to help me cope!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

High speed drills by their nature generate a lot of heat and the water and air is a cooling and debris removing affair!. I doubt if these will cause any pain if you have a local anaesthetic!. but if you do not have them the heat will cause pain and the old fashioned slow drill takes one heck of a long time to do the job!. it is obviously a long time since you have been to the dentist and you will find that techniques have improved!. Talk to your dentist you are not the firist or the last with this problem and when you leave and the local has worn off you will wonder why you put up with your dental problems for so longWww@Answer-Health@Com
Unfortunatly, we can't do fillings without using the water, air or suction!. The water and air are used to clean off the tooth and to dry it!. The suction is used to suck out any tooth, filling material, and saliva!.
You can request to be sedated, however that is going to involve a prescription drug!. The dentist will numb the tooth(Teeth) being worked on, so you won't feel that tooth when he is working on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk it over with the dentist first!. They need to squirt to remove debris and avoid infection, and the suction's necessary as the drill is usually water-cooled by a fine spray!.
Most dentists are very good if they know your problems, some specialise in nervous patients and some will give you a little gas & air to help with the discomfort!.

squrting water shoudnt hurt any type of teeth because all it is is that they are trying to clean your teeth against the gums!. and the air scares me too but it was worth it unless you want ur teeth to fall out!. and it isnt that bad i had 4 teeth pulled out PERMANENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they gave me lauging gas!. its a medicine in which u wont have to feel all that pain !. i suggest u do it before your tooth fall out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sorry, but thats for your own good, to prevent infection or futher infection!. get to the dentist asap before you end up like me and need to be in hospital for 2 weeks in agony!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have really sensitive teeth and the drilling is the only thing that is sensitive to me!. Tell your dentist you have sensitive teeth nd they should be gentle with youWww@Answer-Health@Com
