Acid erosion on teeth looks like little round scalloping on the biting surfaces of your teeth!. If you have it already, there's nothing you can do to prevent it!. You can however, stop it by reducing the intake of erosive foods!. In some people, it's caused by soda, in other, their continual love of sucking on lemons or oranges!. Acid erosion can also be caused if you suffer from gastic acid reflux, or GERD!. If that's the case, you may need to see your physician!. Bulemia is another cause!.
If the erosion does cause you sensitivity, you will need to see your dentist to see if you need fills or bondings placed over the areas!. Use of sensodyne toothpaste can also help reduce sensitiivity!.
