What to do with a chipped tooth from biting down hard on a fork?!
Question: What to do with a chipped tooth from biting down hard on a fork!?
I bit down hard on a metal fork today, and I chipped my lower front teeth (I believe it's called the Central Incisor)!. It's not much more than a tiny (vertical) chip/crack along the side (on the outer surface on the tooth) (I can run a toothpick along the crack)!. It doesn't hurt/sting!.!.!. or maybe it does, and I'm just not noticing it!.!.!.
Should I wait until my next dentist appointment, 3 months later, to get it fixed, or get it fixed as soon as possible!? (I've just gotten my braces off a month ago, and having my teeth ruined again is just sad, so I'll do whatever I can to get them back to normal)!. If I leave it like this for a few weeks, would the chip most likely get worse (especially if I practice the oboe regularly)!?
Thanks for your help and advise!Www@Answer-Health@Com

N,
THIS CHIP MAY OR NOT REQUIRE A FILLING!. OFTEN TIMES IF THE CHIP IS VERY SMALL A FILLING CANNOT BE PLACED, SO THERE IS SLIGHT EQUILIBRATION WHICH CAN BE DONE TO POLISH AWAY THE CHIP!. THIS IS PAINLESS AND REQUIRES NO SHOTS!.
BUT, A DENTIST SHOULD SEE YOU SO THE BEST TREATMENT OR NONE CAN BE GIVEN!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put some super glue on it!. It will act like an enamel for the tooth and the pain with vanish!. Just don't like your tooth for 5 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
