First of all, I am assuming you are referring to one of the upper central incisors (the two front teeth right in the middle)!. Veneers will correct that problem, and they can make it look good so that they fit with the rest of your teeth!. Veneers ARE expensive though, especially Lumineers!.

You don't want to have the dentist file the chip away either, unless it is an extremely small chip!. I had an extremely small chip on one of my incisors and my dentist filed it down, but it was almost an unseeable chip!. I am thinking yours is much bigger than that!. In that case, filing won't work!.

It sounds like your best bet is to go for a crown or a technique they call bonding!. This is nothing more than tooth colored filling material that they bond to the tooth with special materials, and then they shape it to fit the rest of your tooth!. These special materials help the restoration bond better to the tooth, and it will most likely stay on there much better than in years past!. Since the front upper teeth are not exposed to heavy chewing, this might be a good alternative for you!. But you need to consult with your dentist and let he or she decide how to fix your tooth!. You can discuss all of these options with your dentist and see which one he or she agrees with for your particular case!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they bonded mine, then they smooth it out to make it feel and look like the others!. make sure it feels right to you if you get it bonded because mine fell off 1 day later and i had to go backWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ask a dentist whats best and he/she could probably tell you!. Since you don't want baby teeth or horse teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you could either get it bonded or get a crown!Www@Answer-Health@Com
