that's way too long to brush!!!! yikes!! you are going to take all the enamel off your teeth!. you should use a soft bristled brush!. ask your dentist what toothpaste he recommends and how long to brush for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt it's the enamel coming off your teeth causing the sensitivity!. Depending on what you are using to brush!. If you are using Comet and a brillo pad, maybe!.!.Always use a soft toothbrush of good quality like OralB!. You could be having gum recession due to excessive brushing, this exposes the roots of the teeth which can become sensitive!. You should go to your dentist to be sure other things are not going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

having sensitive teeth is one symptom of gum disease and even receding gums!. teeth becomes sensitive once bacteria causing gum disease have allowed deep pockets to form inside the oral cavity and bacteria lurking in the deep pockets can easily breed and multiply causing infection inside the mouth!. and plaque is what bacteria feeds on!. it is best that you visit the dentist and have a plaque removal!. you need to observe proper oral hygiene and hydration to keep bad bacteria at bay!. if not so, all will be leading to severe gum disease that can cause tooth loss!. use also natural dental care product for it helps kill bad bacteria in the mouth!.

no - I had a dental check up yesterday and my teeth are in perfect condition but they can be sensitive to cold drinks so I just use a mouth wash for sensitive teeth and that keeps it under controlWww@Answer-Health@Com

Not necessarily!. Sometimes sensitivity is caused because the teeth are over-cleaned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
