I'm sort of confused about getting braces?!
Question: I'm sort of confused about getting braces!?
Okay, so last time I was at the ortho we basically just talked about having them and signed a bunch of papers!. I was told I would need a palette expander!.!.!.but I was just wondering, does that thing go on at the same time as your braces!? Or do you have the expander for a while and then have the braces put on!? If the last one is true, since I am going to have them for nearly two and a half years, does that include the time with the expander or just when i get my braces!?

It depends!.!.!.I had my palette expander before the braces, but my friend Amber had them at the same time!.!.!.so it really differs!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, you get the expander first!. Then if you aren't ready for braces yet you get a retainer!. Then you get braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
