To be a dentist, you need to take college-prep type classes in high school and get great grades!. Also, be involved in other activities (colleges and dental schools like well-rounded applicants!.) High school guidance counselors are a good resource as well!.
Dental schools like to see students with strong college backgrounds in natural sciences such as biology or biochemistry, and also like well-rouded applicants!. Pre-med classes and pre-dental classes are basically the same thing!.!.!. Once again, guidance counselors are key!. Toward the end of college, you will take the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) which is an entrance exam to dental school!. Math, Science, Physics, and Chemistry are all addressed as well as a spatial relationship portion of the exam!. As you get further along, you will learn how to prep for this test!.

and third and most difficult you have to love the patient

Look for a dentist office and do a internship to see if u like it and then get a recommendation letter from them, stating what u learned!Www@Answer-Health@Com
