I am getting braces tommorow June 17 and I am kinnda scared does it hurt after and while your getting them what hurts the most!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

While you are getting the braces put on, it won't hurt, it will just feel a bit awkward, as does any trip to the dentist/orthodontist
after they are on, although it won't hurt too much, it will defiantly feel weird for the first day or so!. After that, you will be pretty used to them!. It is a bit hard to describe the feeling, but the awkward-ness of them will go away!.
you will probably be told that you can't chew gum, or eat a Twix bar or what have you!. From my experiance, I would stick away from these things at first, but after a while, I found that espicially if I tried not to get those sticky foods caught on the brace, there wouldn't be any issue!.

There is a good amount of pressure involved during the process of putting them on!. There is also the very bitter taste of glue and a good amount of saliva!. After you get them on, it doesn't hurt at first!. It's more of discomforting pain!. After a while the prongs at the top begin to irritate your gums!. This is a kind of dull, continous, annoying pain/ pressure!. It's the kind of pain that you want to rip the braces off or poke them so it will cause variety instead of a continous pain!. It kind of hurts to eat solid foods, but I was able to eat peanut butter crackers and steak!. After about a week you will get used to the pain and soon you won't even notice it!. I would strongly advise taking a pain reliever and using wax!. You'll get used to them, no worries! I was worried too my first time, but it turned out fine! It all depends on your pain tollerance level!. Don't worry, it will be fine! I had mine on for 2 1/2 years with rubber bands, so it will be ok!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sorry to say, bet it will hurt a few hours after your braces are put on!. The pain will deffinately hit you in the evening!. While you are getting them, it wont hurt, but will be pretty uncomfortable because they will dry your mouth completly, and stretch you lips and mouth open!. There will just be a lot of pressure on your teeth, becuase sometimes, they push the bracket hard on you teeth!. When they have finished putting all of the brackets on your teeth, and have put the wire and the little rubberband colors, you will feel a lot of pressure!. The thing that hurts the most is your teeth that evening, going into the next three days!. After that, yur teeth will still be pretty sensitive, because your teeth are loosening up!. I reccomend that you on soft foods for the first week!.

in my opinion it didnt hurt but i was scared!. it will hurt a little bit during night but not during day !. ( i think )!. And while i was getting them on the thing that hurt the most is that they have like this little blow dryer!. this dryer is sort of painful becuz they out it on every bracet ( lil squares ) and they pressure it on it for like 2 mins so that the glue of the braces wont make the braces fall!. that is mostly it and make sure you drink water or lemonad before you sit in the chair you will dry up!. jejej!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
First of all, do not be scared, braces are not that bad!. the day you get your braces, your mouth will feel sore for about three or four days after!. It doesn't hurt applying the braces but the thing that is probably most uncomfortable is when they put like a retractor thing in yout mouth to keep your mouth open so they can apply your braces!. they put a sour lemon flavor like sunstance on your teeth that they put on before they put the glue for your braces!. When they squirt the water on, it gets all gross tasting in your mouth!. then they take a hair dryey with an attachment and litterally blow dry in your mouth, until it comes completely dry, which makes you unable to talk until you have some saliva in your mouth!. I had braces about 10 years ago, from what i remember, the most annoying part is when they put the metal piece on your back molar that attaches everything!. The pieces that go on your teeth are glued on then they put the wire at the end!. After all that

While you get them, the hardest part is keeping your mouth open for so long while the cement dries, but afterwards your mouth will ache for a day or two!. It will also ache after each adjustment!. Avoid chewing anything during these times!. The pain is not sharp, it's!.!. achy!. Don't eat anything solid right after you get them!. Drink a smoothie or a shake, yogurt or ice cream, something that you can mush with your tongue!. The coolness will feel good!.

As you are getting them on,it will not hurt at all!. But as soon as your head home you will feel very annoyed and disturbed!. Because the pressure that is going on your teeth will cause you a lot of annoyance!. But then you'll get use to it!. But tightening does hurt!. But don't be scared!. It's really worth it!. It would hurt but it won't be the hurt fullest thing you have encountered!. Trust me!. Try pressing your fingers on your two front teeth as hard as you can!. The First Day its not very bad but always the second day is the worst!. Then it gets better after each day!. And the same when you get them tightened*!. The thing that hurt me the most was the chain that goes accross your teeth, and i also had to get rubberbands at the same time!. Getting them on does not hurt!. When you get them adjusted it hurts!. They will give you a plastic thing to bite on which will help a lot!. As soon as you get them on bite on that thing and you should be fine!. If it does hurt a little it will be mild pain, just take aspirin!. Your teeth are going to be so pretty when they come off!. dont be scared its not that bad!. they dont hurt when they are putting them on but a few hours after mabey 3 they start to hurt for like a week!. stick to soft foods and you will be fine!. take tylonol or something before you go!. when he is putting them on he uses really cold water on your teeth and its uncomfortable if you have sensetive teeth like me and the glue tastes bad!.

when the braces are being put on it does not hurt ,you will feel realy uncomfortable while they are doing it becase your lips get chapped and there is tons of cotton stuffed in your mouth!.i actually started laughing during the process cauze i could only imagine what i looked like!the first night hurt so bad i cried and my teeth wernt even that bad!let me suggest tons of asprin and only soft foods for a week!.the worst part is the first day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
no pain while you get them on!. It hurts after, and every time you get them tightened!. Take a few Advil or ibuprofen before you leave, so they don't hurt so bad when you're done!. Plan on eating soft foods for the first few days, because you wont be able to chew!.

It actually didn't hurt for me when I got them put on, even when they were tightening them!. However they did feel very weak for 3 days the next 2 hours after!. During that time youll have to eat mashed potatoes and baby food, cus it's very difficult to chew normal food!. but after that, the process feels pretty normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
First, it will hurt!. A dull pain, will rack your brain, a bit!. Just a small head ache!. After, your teeth will hurt non-stop, like crazy!. You try to eat food, but you feel incredible amounts of pressure, pain, and soreness!. During this time, eat soft food!.!.!. such as smoothies, milkshakes!.!.!.!. ice creams!. Many dairy products!. :D
Nothing, hurts in the procedure!. The pain comes after lasting about 2 weeks!. Aww!.!. I feel so bad for you!

I had braces done years ago!. No, it didn't hurt!. The only time I felt discomfort is when they did a tightening of the wires!. That was only for a brief minute!. Don't worry about it!. My niece just had hers put on a few weeks ago!. She loves it!. Didn't hurt and she knows her teeth will be perfect when they take them off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't say it hurt I would say it is uncomfortable!. but you do get used to them!. they give you wax for your lips until they get used to them too!.!. and tightening can be uncomfortable but you have nothing to worry about you will be fine! good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
No it does not hurt, just a little sore and biting for a few days is tender use advil and put wax to keep to braces from rubbing your lips!. it is worth it!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it was more of slight pain than hurt!. It was any intense feeling just was an annoyance that wouldnt go away!. But after first week u get used to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
