HAVE A DENTIST EVALUATE THIS TOOTH FOR A POSSIBLE ROOT FRACTURE!. IN THE MEANTIME TAKE 3-4 ADVIL EVERY 4-6 HOURS BEFORE YOU SEE A DENTIST!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Theoretically no, you should not have pain after a root canal!. But sometimes it happens!.

Most molars have 3 nerves in them!. When having a root canal your dentist removes those nerves!. But sometimes there is a 4th nerve!. This could be what is causing your pain!.

Call your dentist and let him know you are having tooth pain!. You might try some clove oil tonight!. It may give you some temporary relief until your dentist can see you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is entirely possible i have had 2-3 root canals already and even though they remove the nerve inside of the tooth the nerve can grow back partially especially if they didnt do a thorough job there are other nerve in the gums themselves which can bother you too but!.!.!.!.!. it is not hard at all for them to fix it I would go back to the dentist hope that helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just had a root canal for a tooth that needed to be capped!. There may be some discomfort as the pain killer wears off but your situation is a whole nother ballgame!. Call your dentist tommorrow and tell him!. There may be a problem but he/she should know you are in serious pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know someone who had a toothache in a tooth they had a root canal on but it was right after they had the work done not a year later!. You should see a dentist, you could have an abscess or something else wrong!. try some oragel to help releive itWww@Answer-Health@Com
