How long after having my wisdom teeth removed can i start to smoke again?!

Question: How long after having my wisdom teeth removed can i start to smoke again!?
I know theres about ten of these questions resolved!. However I would like to know the answer for MY case!.

I had my surgery on Tuesday, June 17th at around noon!.
I was put to sleep, and they had to cut into my gums and take out all four of my wisdom teeth removed (one or two was impacted)

My two questions are:

When can I safely smoke with NO chance of getting a infection/dry socket/ect!?

And when can I smoke with a considerably decreased chance of infection/dry socket/ ect!?

Ps!. Please do not state that smoking is bad and I should quit altogether and such, I appreciate your compassion but I do not want to quit right now!.

Thank you for your help beforehand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This depends on how quickly YOU heal!. Your dentist probably told you not to "suck, swish or spit!." Mine told me that and I used a straw 10 days after my root canal and got a dry socket and an infection that spread to my sinus cavity!. I am a slow healer in general, from cuts, bruises, etc!. I would say two or three weeks!. You will get a nasty looking white coating on your sockets that looks like you have wonder bread stuck in them!. I think that it is basically moist scabs that form!. When those are gone and the holes are pink!.!.!.then smoke!. Again!.!.!.hard to give a time frame because you may have quicker or slower healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your best bet is to ask your dentist he won't nag you about smoking just be honest and he will help you!. Always stay in contact with the dentist until you think you are back to 100%Www@Answer-Health@Com
