Your mouth willl feel 'full' & strange to you!. Pain!? Not much!. Ask your dentist: aspirin or ibuprofen should handle it, if needed at all!. Follow directions & don't 'double' anything!. They're built to fit snug & to 'press' teeth into position slowly!.
You'll like what you see in your mirror when they come off! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it completely depends on how bad your teeth are and what the objective of the visit is!. i go once a month and sometimes they don't do a whole lot that time!. they just tighten the wire a bit which might cause some discomfort!.
or the goal for that visit is to push one or more teeth to a certain place which would hurt a whole lot afterwards!. and sometimes, the whole point of your visit is just to check on how you're teeth are comming along so for that month, it won't hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

something solid that you must know is that your teeth will look better when your done!.!.!.!.much better!. its kinda obvious but really when your teeth are hurting like they will after you get them or after an adjustment for a day or two or when you think that your teeth dont look straight then just remember that they will look great after you get them off!.!.!.i promisWww@Answer-Health@Com

My husband said that his hurt like crazy when they tightened them!. He was relieved to get them off, but I'll tell you!.!.!.the payoff was worth it!. He has a beautiful smile!. :)

EDIT: From the answers given so far!.!.!.!.I'd say it varies with each person!. Some people feel pain, others discomfort and others not much of anything!. Maybe you will be lucky and won't feel much pain!. Just keep thinking of that beautiful smile you'll have afterwards! :) Good luck, honey!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It hurts when you get them tightened!.!. It does hurt for a couple of days after you put them on, not right away but eventually!. For example, if you get them on in the morning, you will be able to have lunch with no pain, but it will really hurt in dinner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
